I managed communities before I built software for them

I’m a licensed Florida CAM. I’ve worked with a lot of boards and a lot of communities, and I’ve seen the same problems come up again and again.

Records that nobody can find. Notices that go up late. Owners who can’t get a straight answer about their own association. Volunteers spending their evenings on work that software should have handled years ago.

I also saw something else: most association software is built around the management company. The association and its owners often come second.

That’s backwards.

The association is the entity that owns the records, makes the decisions, and ultimately answers to its owners. The technology should work for them.

So I built Atriom to solve the problems I saw firsthand.

The website belongs to the association.
The records belong to the owners.
The board should have the tools to run its community without asking anyone’s permission.

That’s the idea behind Atriom.
